Art Installation Project

The Variation of Blackness is based on "Exploring the Nuances of Black, Quare, Afro-Caribbean Asylum Seekers in U.S. Higher Education," which aims to illuminate the unique experiences of Black, Quare, Afro-Caribbean asylum-seeking students in U.S. higher education. Using autoethnography and poetry, the project will culminate in a multimedia exhibition that integrates research findings to foster an understanding of this often-overlooked population.
