Wa Ya Say? I’m Travis RichardsDr. T, if you like. I’m an unapologetically Afro-Caribbean creative from The Bahamas, where culture, resilience, and storytelling are in my DNA. With 15+ years in education and research, I’ve guided students toward self-discovery, resilience, and academic success. My dissertation, “Wa Ya See?”, digs into the experience of a Black, Quare, Afro-Caribbean asylum seeker in U.S. academia—part scholarship, part manifesto for inclusivity and visibility.

DELO/ALDIER

With over 20 years in design—spanning photography, videography, and graphic art—I weave storytelling and research to connect people on a visceral level. I also founded The Safe Space by Travis Chavez, a movement celebrating raw, authentic voices of color through podcasts, apparel, and community events. And then there’s DeloAldier, my creative alter-ego, always pushing boundaries and bringing bold, unapologetic energy to each project. Together, we’re not just creating but challenging, connecting, and making stories felt. If you’re ready for something bold and unforgettable, let’s build it.
